6 Podcasts that Inspire
A couple years back, in an effort to live a more balanced life, I tried to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I would jump out of bed and throw on my workout clothes before giving myself a chance to back out. I’d walk my girls to school and continue walking for exercise. As I’d walk, I’d listen to podcasts. This made me feel extremely productive as I was multi-tasking and basically packing more into the hour. Nourishment for my mind and my body. Win, Win.
Here’s a list of 6 podcasts that I find particularly inspiring and why.
#1 The Marie Forleo Podcast: If you don’t know Marie Forleo, you really should check her out. She was named by Oprah as a thought leader for the next generation and she shows you practical ways to become the person you most want to be. I LOVE HER! She’s not for everyone, some people can find her cheesy or even annoying, but I think all her content is really valuable and she has a heart of gold. I love her motto too! The world needs that special gift that only you have.
#2 Your Virtual Upline Podcast: This podcast is aimed at network marketing professionals but I have found that it’s about so much more than that. It’s about making an impact and leaving behind a legacy. Bob believes network marketing is the vehicle to do just that. He is genuine and authentic and I have applied his wisdom to all aspects of my life, not just my Rodan & Fields side business.
#3 Business of Design Podcast: Anyone who’s an interior designer knows how difficult our job can be. Managing trades, clients, projects… not a walk in the park. I met Kimberley Seldon a few years ago at High Point Market and I swear, she changed my life! I walked into her seminar as one person, and I walked out as another. If you are in the interior design field and have been thinking to yourself that there’s got to be a better way… THERE IS. Look no further! You will LOVE this podcast!
#4 World-Changing Women Podcast: This podcast is a forum for amazing women who are doing amazing things. Inspiring, uplifting, empowering! If you want to get to know great women role models and leaders, this is the podcast for you!
#5 Ted Talk Daily: I’m sure you’ve heard of TED TALKS. Ted Talk daily brings you the latest talks in audio format. Ideas worth spreading on the go! Simply awesome!
#6 The Chalene Show: Last, but definitely not least is The Chalene Show. I found Chalene when Bob Heilig interviewed her on his show. Chalene is a celebrity fitness trainer who’s determined to helping you live a happier, healthier and balanced life. Besides the cheesy intro, I can say that she has some of the best content out there. She is thorough, entertaining and overall great!
